On this International Workers’ Day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation and admiration to each and every one of you for your dedication, hard work and unwavering commitment to the mission of the Narcotics Control Commission.
Today, we join millions around the world in celebrating the strength, resilience and dignity of labour. It is a moment to reflect on the invaluable role you play in safeguarding our society from the harmful effects of illicit drugs and promoting public safety and health.
Your tireless efforts—whether in the field, in our offices, or in support roles—form the backbone of our progress as a Commission. Together, we have made significant strides in enforcement, prevention, rehabilitation and community engagement, and these achievements would not be possible without your professionalism and integrity.
As we mark this important day, I encourage each of you to take pride in your work and to continue upholding the values that define us: discipline, service, accountability and compassion. Let us remain united in purpose and steadfast in our pursuit of a drug-free Ghana.
Happy Workers’ Day, and thank you once again for your service.
Warm regards,
Brig. Gen. MO Mantey
