The management of the Narcotics Control Commission led by the Director-General Brig Gen Maxwell Obuba Mantey together with his Deputy Director-Generals and some management members on Friday 28 November 2025 joined the state to bid a farewell service for the former First Lady, H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings at the Black Star Square, in Accra.

The burial service was highly attended by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, his Vice President H.E. Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, former Presidents John Agyekum Kuffour, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu Addo, as well as Ministers of State, Members of the Judiciary, Members of Parliament and Members of the Diplomatic Community and Security Heads.
Brig Gen Obuba Mantey was joined by his Deputy Director-Generals, namely Mr Alexander Twum-Berimah, Deputy Director-General in charge of Enforcement Control and Elimination and Mr Stephen Yeboah, Deputy Director-General in charge of General Services.
