Delight Pharmacy Ltd, a leading pharmaceutical supplier based in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, on Thursday, 13 November 2025, donated One Hundred buckets of ten-litre De-Luxy emulsion paint to the Management of the Narcotics Control Commission.
The gesture forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, primarily aimed at consolidating the Commission’s operational activities.

Mr Alexander Twum-Berimah, the Deputy Director-General in charge of Enforcement, Control and Elimination, in receiving the items, thanked Delight Pharmacy Ltd on behalf of Management for the support aimed at giving the facelift of the Commission, adding the gesture will go a long way to enable management to speed up its planned infrastructure development. He added that the donation was timely as it would help management to augment its planned renovation exercise across the country, especially at the regional and district commands.

Mr Twum-Barimah assured the donors of the management of NACOC putting to good use the donation and called for more of such collaborative efforts from the private sector aimed at supporting the Commission’s vision and mission.

The Chief Executive Officer of Delight Pharmacy Ltd, Mr Opoku Bonsu, in his remarks, stated that the donation to NACOC was very important considering his company’s longstanding working relationship, hence the need to support the Commission in the dispensation of its ongoing projects across the country.

He added that his company was committed to cooperating and partnering with NACOC towards achieving its goals as well as improving its activities.
“We are ready to support NACOC in complementing its vision aimed at controlling the illicit drug trafficking and abuse menace”. Mr Bonsu stressed.
