The Deputy Director-General, in charge of General Services, Mr Stephen Yeboah, on Thursday, 30 October 2025, paid a working visit to the Bono-East Regional Command in the Techiman Metropolis.
The main purpose of the visit was to engage officers of the Command and also hand over a site for external works on the containerised office of the Command to HafaWorks Enterprise.
Mr Stephen Yeboah, in his address, expressed delight at the progress being made towards strengthening the Commission’s operational infrastructure in the Bono-East Region.
He described the commencement of the external works as another significant milestone in the Commission’s continuous efforts to improve working conditions and enhance service delivery.
“It gives me great pleasure to officially hand over the site to HafaWorks Enterprise for the commencement of external works on our containerised office here at Techiman,” Mr Yeboah stated.
“This project marks another significant milestone for us, and I am confident that with HafaWorks’ expertise and commitment, we will achieve our objectives efficiently.”
In his view, the scope of the work will cover all external infrastructure that will not only improve the functionality of the office but also enhance its overall appearance.
He reassured of the Commission’s readiness to provide full support and cooperation to the contractors to ensure smooth execution.
Mr Yeboah stressed that the Commission remains fully committed to providing all necessary support or information required to ensure a successful completion of the project, with all documentation and access arrangements duly prepared.
Mr Yeboah emphasized the importance of collaboration, urging both parties to maintain a strong partnership spirit throughout the project’s duration.
He further called for the timely delivery of the work within the approved budget and in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
“Let us work together in a spirit of partnership to ensure timely completion of this project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards,” he said.
The new facility is expected to strengthen NACOC’s operational efficiency in the Bono-East Region and improve coordination in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse, while also ensuring a conducive environment for staff to effectively discharge their duties.
On her part, the Bono-East Regional Commander, SNCO Portia Abuwie Demuyakor, on behalf of her team, thanked the Deputy Director-General for his visit and assured that they will ensure that the contractor does quality work.
