The Zeera Group of companies have donated modern sophisticated gadgets worth Eighty-One Thousand Cedis (GHS 81,000.00) to the Public Affairs Department of NACOC.
The gesture was mainly to retool and enhance the operations of the department both internally and externally, such as coverage of official events.
Zeera Group is one of the most diversified business conglomerates in Ghana, owned by a renowned businessman, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, with a reputation for excellence reflected in both its service delivery and products.
The items donated include a brand new Canon EOS R8 camera, Canon EF 70-200 iii f2.8, Canon EF 24-105 f4, Canon V1 Camera Flash, 7 branded reflective vests and a Canon RF-EF adapter.
The Director-General of NACOC, Brig Gen Maxwell Obuba Mantey, in presenting the items to the head of the Public Affairs Department, NCO Nana Osei Nkwantabisa, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, tasked the department to ensure to put the newly acquired equipment into good use.
“The Public Affairs Department, as part of its mandate, must ensure that the image of the Commission is maintained in the public space, as well as being supported with the requisite tools, hence the facilitation and support”. He added.
Brig Gen Mantey admonished the department to keep the equipment properly and expressed the hope that its outputs would complement the current status.
On his part, the Head of the Public Affairs Department, NCO Nana Osei Nkwantabisa, on behalf of his team, thanked the CEO of Zeera Group of Companies, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, for the support, as well as the Director-General and his Deputies for the facilitation and support.
He assured management that the newly acquired equipment will be put to good use and properly maintained.
