The Director-General of the Narcotics Control Commission, Brigadier General Maxwell Obuba Mantey, has tasked all 16 regional commanders to deliver on the mandate of the commission in their respective regions.

This follows a rigorous one-week training of all 16 regional commanders and four selected heads in the Western north regions.

The training includes leadership principles in law enforcement, emotional intelligence in law enforcement, crime, and exhibit management.

The Deputy Director-Director-General in charge of Enforcement Control and Elimination, lawyer Twum-Barimah urged the commanders to impact the knowledge they have acquired during the training to their officers.

He also encouraged them to apply the law in the discharge of their duties.

“Apply the laws to the latter in your various regions and avoid emotions to your professional duties”.

“There will be more training in the coming years”, DDG added, which received massive applause from participants.

The week-long training was facilitated by in-house resource personnel and coordinated by the training department.
