Golden Tower Ltd, based in the North Industrial Area, in the Greater Accra Region, has donated seventy-five buckets of ten litres of De-Luxy emulsion paints to the Management of the Narcotics Control Commission.
The gesture is in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, mainly to reach out to its partners with the Commission receiving its part.
The Deputy Director-General in charge of Enforcement, Control and Elimination Mr Alexander Twum-Berimah, receiving the items on behalf of Management, thanked management of Golden Tower Ltd for its kind gesture of supporting the Commission as the donation will help management to speed up with its planned infrastructure development.
He indicated that the presentation was timely as it will help management to augment its planned rennovational exercise across the country, especially at the regional and district commands.
Mr Twum-Barimah assured the donors of management of NACOC putting into good use of the donation and called for more of such collaborative efforts from the private sector aimed at supporting the Commission’s vision and mission.
“NACOC will always avail itself to all companies under its supervision to project a good course for the national interest. ” Mr Twum-Barimah stressed.
On her part, the Managing Director of Golden Tower Ltd, Ms Zeinab Abubakar stated that the gesture was to support the Commission to facilitate and embark on some of its ongoing projects, especially at the Headquarters and its regional offices.
She added that his company was committed to partnering with the Commission to improve and enhance its activities.
“We are ready to support the Commission in diverse ways to enable it to carry out its mandate,” Ms Zeinab added.

Golden Tower Ltd, a Ghanaian based company with its specialisation in pharmaceuticals and general merchandising, has been operating under the supervision of the Commission through its Precursor Control and Monitoring Unit for over a decade.
